• Knowledge Test

    • Test available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Russian
    • The License Express testing software has an audible option. Bring a device to test on, as well as headphones/earbuds
    • Study the Washington State Driver's Guide

    Photo ID is preferred to test (i.e., state-issued, passport, military, tribal, school, or yearbook). If under 18 and don't have a government ID, bring a birth certificate, a parent on the certificate, and their ID. Be sure to pre-register with the DOL prior to testing. If you have a Washington State ID or permit, be sure to enter your "WDL" number in the permit box during registration. It's ok to leave the expiration date blank.

  • Drive Test

    • Must have passed the knowledge test within the past two years.
    • Be prepared. Learn what's on the test.
    • The software accomodates one purchase from your end. Repeat testers - call, email, or text the cell number for an appointment. 

    Tests are given by appointment, which includes the use of a school vehicle. Personal vehicles will not be used at this time.
